Peach and Si, Pigeons.

The pigeons came in 2010. We started with 12, they bred until we had 20. Then they were discovered by the cat and the sparrowhawk and numbers went down to 9. Now we are losing count but there are more than 30.  Zoe keeps them fed, watered and closes them in at night.

One hatched pigeon chick and an egg just about to be kept warm again.

 

 A pair of pigeons (Mirror and Glisten) made a nest in a dust mask! These are their day old chicks.
